Day 5 of 30 Guerrilla Certified Trainer

Today was all about getting some prospects to see the Guerrilla Balance Sheet. To do this it involved leaving comments on 10 blogs that relate to Marketing Budgets.

This took some time, mixed in with other items I had to take care of during the day. In terms of actual minutes spent on the process it took 1 hour and 5 minutes. Unfortunately I had to do housework, look after my daughter, go shopping and eat. All up it took about 4 hours.

I have to say it was interesting getting out to see other blogs and what people are talking about. A lot of the posts were to do with the recession in the USA, if it takes place, and if people should or should not decrease advertising budgets if things go bad with the US economy.

Looking ahead to day 6 it is a lot less work than what I completed today. At least it feels good to have accomplished something.

Now have to see if I get any results from my efforts today.

Day 4 of 30 day program for Guerrilla Marketers

Day 4 has come late for me. That is the toughest part of marketing online...staying focussed.

I had plans to get things done the other morning however the Champions League semifinal between Chelsea and Liverpool was on. It was early morning Australian time. I watched the match and forgot about my task here.

Back into it now. The day 4 task was quite simple. Add a signature to my email setup. I use Thunderbird so I had to look up how to do this. It is something I should have done ages ago...

If you are using Thunderbird, to create your signature you first create a text file with your signature text.

Next you go to Tools - Account Settings. Select the account. Once there you should see a checkbox next to attach this signature.

Now select the text file that you created earlier.

That's it. Now when you create a new message you should see the signature text added at the end of your email.

This step took five minutes to complete including doing the research to see how to add the signature.
