Day 5 of 30 Guerrilla Certified Trainer

Today was all about getting some prospects to see the Guerrilla Balance Sheet. To do this it involved leaving comments on 10 blogs that relate to Marketing Budgets.

This took some time, mixed in with other items I had to take care of during the day. In terms of actual minutes spent on the process it took 1 hour and 5 minutes. Unfortunately I had to do housework, look after my daughter, go shopping and eat. All up it took about 4 hours.

I have to say it was interesting getting out to see other blogs and what people are talking about. A lot of the posts were to do with the recession in the USA, if it takes place, and if people should or should not decrease advertising budgets if things go bad with the US economy.

Looking ahead to day 6 it is a lot less work than what I completed today. At least it feels good to have accomplished something.

Now have to see if I get any results from my efforts today.

Day 4 of 30 day program for Guerrilla Marketers

Day 4 has come late for me. That is the toughest part of marketing online...staying focussed.

I had plans to get things done the other morning however the Champions League semifinal between Chelsea and Liverpool was on. It was early morning Australian time. I watched the match and forgot about my task here.

Back into it now. The day 4 task was quite simple. Add a signature to my email setup. I use Thunderbird so I had to look up how to do this. It is something I should have done ages ago...

If you are using Thunderbird, to create your signature you first create a text file with your signature text.

Next you go to Tools - Account Settings. Select the account. Once there you should see a checkbox next to attach this signature.

Now select the text file that you created earlier.

That's it. Now when you create a new message you should see the signature text added at the end of your email.

This step took five minutes to complete including doing the research to see how to add the signature.

Day 3 of 30 day program for Guerrilla Marketers

On this day the task was easy. It involved turning the Clickbank hoplink for the Guerrilla Balance Sheet into a tinyurl.

In case you have no clue about what I am talking about, a tinyurl is just that. You might have some big long url like this:

http://keatir.febene.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=BLOGGER or something even longer.

By going to tinyurl.com and using their service you can paste the big long url into a field and it makes it like this:

http://tinyurl.com/5r88r5

See it is now rather tiny. It also hides the fact that the above link is a clickbank affiliate link. Some people see them and just decide to hijack you affiliate commission, but that is a story for another day.

So far so good. Look for more when I talk about my day 4 tasks.

Certified Guerrilla Training in Training - Day 2 of 30

Here we are at day 2 on the road to becoming a Guerrilla Information Marketing certified trainer.

I spent several hours listening to the final class of the six part training at FeBeNe. Tomorrow there is something to look forward to. The man behind the Guerrilla marketing, Mr Jay Conrad Levinson is doing a call with Ben Mack and Paulie Sabol. I look forward to listening in on that call.

Day 2 in the 30 day plan to make a dollar online is quite easy. It involves getting a clickbank id setup. As I already have promoted products from clickbank I have the id.

In case you don't know, Clickbank is a huge marketplace that allows people to sell digital products. I did actually hear the other day that physical products can also be sold through clickbank. I must find out more about that.

The great thing with Clickbank is that anyone can promote products that are listed on Clickbank. You just add your id to the hoplink used by Clickbank. If someone follows your link you get paid.

I have already made sales in the past promoting as an affiliate. A great product you should look at is the Guerrilla Balance Sheet. It is available through clickbank.

The Guerrilla Balance Sheet teaches you about how to turn marketing expenses into profit centers.

The journey begins - Certified Guerrilla Marketer

I have begun my journey to become a Certified Guerilla Marketing Trainer. This all actually begun a few months back when I came across a product from Paulie Sabol and Ben Mack.

It is called the Guerilla Balance Sheet. It teaches you about how to turn marketing costs into profit centers.

From there I ended up at FeBeNe.com. This site is where I have received excellent training from the above two gentleman.

Jay Conrad Levinson endorses the Guerilla Balance Sheet. He is the man behind the original Guerilla Marketing.

After the training with FeBeNe I discovered I had to do it the Guerilla style. I also want to spread the word to help others become Guerilla Marketers.

Who wants to pay for marketing when you can make marketing pay you?

As part of my journey I have setup this blog to tell you what I am up to every step of the way.

You can learn more about the Guerilla Balance Sheet right now!

All the best
